This Cookie Policy applies to citizens and legal permanent residents of the United Kingdom. It explains what our website, https://jsalondon.com (“the website”), stores on your device.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small simple file that is sent along with pages of a website and stored by your browser on your computer or another device. The information stored in it may be returned to the website’s servers, or to the servers of third parties, on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in a comparable way.
2. Cookies we use
Our website does not use tracking, statistics or marketing cookies, and it does not include advertising, analytics or social media plug-ins. We do not ask for your consent because we do not place any cookies that would require it.
- Our own website does not set any cookies.
- Cloudflare, which protects our website against attacks, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm, valid for 30 minutes) to tell genuine visitors apart from automated traffic. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
- If you use the light/dark switch in the header, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (jsa-theme) so the website remembers it. It never leaves your device, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
3. Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies
You can use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may not be placed, or change your browser settings so that you receive a message each time a cookie is placed. For more information, please refer to the instructions in the Help section of your browser.
4. Your rights with respect to personal data
You have the right to know why your personal data is needed, what will happen to it and how long it will be retained for, and the rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability and objection. For details, see our Privacy Statement.
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, we would like to hear from you, but you also have the right to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
